Our Back Story
Tony and Cheryl decided to make a move to the country once their youngest child "flew from the coop". Their "escape" has delivered a truly unexpected and amazing experience that they hope you will come along to discover for yourselves.
As a residential builder for 30 years Tony's aspirations to work on his own historical property became a dream come true with the purchase of this late 1800's homestead. Renovation and maintenance of its ornate fixtures and features blend building with art, bringing Tony much pleasure as he crafts beauty for all to enjoy.
As an accountant, redesign and renovation of the home has given Cheryl the opportunity to express a pent up creative side. Combining artistic flair with a great deal of research into "all things Victorian", Cheryl has created an exquisite oasis that must be experienced to be appreciated.
The name Foxgloves is driven primarily by the couple's love of fox terriers, of which they have three - Pluto, Baxter and Rocky. For the dog lover, these chaps will quickly find their way into your heart with their cheeky antics. Cheryl keeps a close eye on visitors as many try to sneak a dog or two into their car "to go".
